Integrate XT or cameras correctly into your network using our IP Finder

Reading time: approx. 4 minutes

We deliver the XT1 and our LE9xx series network cameras with a static IP address (192.168.1.200). In order to access the cameras, you must adapt the IP data to your network configuration, otherwise they will not be able to communicate with your network.

The easiest way to do this is to use our IP Finder (download link: Windows / MAC ). This will search your network for all your LUPUS devices and gives you the option to adjust the IP data directly.
You can choose between DHCP and a static IP address. Details on the respective advantages and disadvantages of DHCP or a static IP address, as well as the relevant input options, can be found under “General – Assigning the appropriate IP address – DHCP or static IP address”.

After you have made the appropriate IP settings, you can open the respective device directly from the IP Finder in your standard browser by double-clicking it.
Cameras that are already delivered with DHCP (e.g. LE 200 / LE 201) can be opened directly via the IP address in the IP Finder in your standard browser.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to configure a recorder in this way. Therefore, please follow the explanation under “LUPUSTEC – Recorder – General – Why can’t I access my recorder via the network?”.
