The Vivotek IP7161 is a high-end 2-megapixel network camera with outstanding image quality and day/night functionality. This camera is ideal for wide/open areas, eg driveways or applications where precise identification is important, eg face recognition in banks or license plate recognition in parking lots. With the 2-megapixel resolution (1600x1200), the camera delivers very clear and detailed images. The high resolution allows you to record larger areas than with standard CCTV cameras.
The IP8161 supports MJPEG compression technology to drastically reduce file sizes and conserve valuable network bandwidth. To deliver consistently convincing images 24 hours a day, the camera is equipped with an integrated IR cut filter and auto-iris lens to deliver good images even in difficult lighting conditions.
