If you buy several window locks from Abus, you will receive them all with the same key if they have the same locking number, e.g. AL0125, AL0089, AL0145. Then all keys fit all window locks/handles.

What is the difference between the ABUS FG300 and the ABUS FG300 Alarm?

The Abus FG300 alarm is mechanically constructed like the "normal" Abus FG300. It is also DIN-tested and has a twist and tear resistance of 200Nm. In addition, the alarm window handle is VdS-Home certified . If you order several Abus FG300a with the same key from one lock (e.g. AL0125), you can operate them with the same key. The alarm window handles can also be combined with other Abus window locks with the same key, e.g. Abus FG400N.
The main technical difference lies in the built-in electronics . The Abus FG300A has a 3D alarm sensor that reacts to attempts to force the window. In the event of a break-in attempt, the integrated siren immediately triggers an alarm at 110 dBA. The alarm window handle is simply deactivated/activated using the pressure cylinder, which prevents false alarms caused by "opening the window". For additional security, the Abus FG300A can be operated with a glass break detector (potential-free, 2-wire).
