The AOCD-260 curtain detector monitors a narrow strip of space with a width of only 0.6 m and a length of 10 m. The device detects movement at the moment of crossing the perimeter line - it can be an element of perimeter security. It is designed for operation in the ABAX 2/ABAX bidirectional radio system. The product meets the requirements of the EN 50131 standard for Grade 2 (for indoor use).

The detector has two detection channels: PIR and microwave, the sensitivity of which can be adjusted independently. The detection is based on digital signal processing, which is supported by dynamic temperature compensation to ensure correct operation of the detector in the temperature range from -40°C to +55°C. The AOCD-260 monitors the motion detection system and signals any malfunctions in its operation. The detector is characterized by high resistance to false alarms.

The device configuration and firmware updates are carried out remotely. The radio communication in the ABAX 2 system is AES encrypted.

The AOCD-260 has three-color LEDs to signal violations in test mode.

The detector is powered by the CR123A 3 V battery. When the battery level is lower than the set value, the detector will transmit low battery information. The available ECO option (only in ABAX 2) allows to extend the detector's operating time up to four times without having to replace the battery.

The device is equipped with a polycarbonate housing (protection class IP54). The detector is equipped with tamper protection against opening and tearing off the mounting surface. It can be mounted directly on the wall (Grade 2) or on the angle bracket.

If it is necessary to move the detector away from the wall, even by several centimeters, it is recommended to use the modular BRACKET E holder. This is especially true if there is a gutter or lamp near the device, which can limit the full range of the detector's detection field. A special insert for the AGATE/AOCD-260 detectors also allows them to be mounted using BRACKET A and BRACKET B mounting feet (recommended for indoor installation).

All of the brackets mentioned are suitable for wall and ceiling mounting. In addition, BRACKET E and BRACKET B have a closed construction that allows for concealed cable routing, thus improving the overall aesthetics of the installation.
