The Dragino LDS03A is a LoRaWAN open/close door sensor. It detects the open/close status of the door and connects to the IoT server through the LoRaWAN network. The user can see the door status, opening duration and number of openings on the IoT server. The LDS03A is powered by a 8500mAh Li-SOCI2 battery. It can be used for up to 10 years.

The LDS03A sends data periodically every 2 hours and every time the door is opened/closed. It also counts the door opening times and calculates the last door opening duration. Users can also disable the uplink for each opening/closing event, instead the LDS03A can count each opening event and send the uplink periodically.

LDS03A has a datalog function that records the opening/closing event and the user can retrieve the history via LoRaWAN. LDS03A has an opening alarm function. The user can set this function so that the device will send an alarm when the door has been opened for a certain period of time. LDS03A is designed for outdoor use. It has a weatherproof housing and an industrial-grade battery for operation in low to high temperatures.

Each LDS03A is preloaded with a set of unique keys for LoRaWAN registration. LoRaWAN server and connects automatically after power on.
