AJAX DualCurtain Outdoor

The AJAX DualCurtain Outdoor is a so-called curtain detector. Specially developed for outdoor use. The DualCurtain Outdoor is equipped with several PIR sensors that detect movements up to 15 meters per side.

The advantage of the AJAX DualCurtain Outdoor is not only that it has two lenses on both sides, but also that the lower lens has a 40° detection range. This means that people very close to the detector and on the ground can also be detected. Please see the graphic below for the possible detection range of the detector.

The view from above shows that the detection range is 15 meters. If there are drain pipes or other obstacles on the outside walls, it is possible to shift the angle of the lens by 3 to get past them.

The image on the left shows the settings in the AJAX app . Here you can specify for each page whether the detection area is active or not. The sensitivity, permanently active and the coverage detection can also be set individually for each page.

In the picture on the right you can see the setting options on the detector itself. Here you can set the close-range detection, the distance and the direction of the lenses for the left and right sides of the detector.
