802.11ac and dynamic channel selection

With support for 3 streams each of the 802.11ac standard at 5 GHz and 802.11n at 2.4 GHz, the WAC6103D-I achieves a combined maximum speed of 1.75 Gbps. The AP supports Dynamic Channel Selection (DCS), automatic scanning for free WLAN channels. Load balancing and smart client steering also help ensure smooth operation in complex, demanding environments.
Low profile and high-quality components

Last but not least, the design of an AP is also important. The WAC6103D-I clearly stands out here with its low height of just 32 millimeters. Only high-quality components were used. Only polymer electrolytic capacitors (solid capacitors) are used. These have a service life that is up to six times longer than conventional electrolytic capacitors.
Switchable antennas

The dual antennas are optimized for the various installation options and can be switched either via the integrated switch, the web GUI or via the ZyXEL WLAN controller solution. Thanks to this innovative solution, the illumination of the room can be optimized and the interference with the APs on other floors can be reduced. This means that significantly higher performance can be achieved compared to competitors. The application area of the latest WAC-AP is universal, but is particularly suitable for demanding environments such as hotels and hospitals.
