ABUS Server
ABUS Server is ABUS's free DynDNS service for secure remote access to alarm systems and cameras.
For stable remote access to the Secvest alarm control panel via the internet, the following is required:
either the Secvest must be connected to the free ABUS Server,
or a static external IP address must be assigned to your home network.
Remote access can be established:
either via a web browser to the Secvest web interface,
or via the Secvest app.
Remote access is useful, for example, when the residents of a single-family home are away for an extended period (vacation, etc.) and an alarm is triggered. Using remote access, a user can then, for example, deactivate or reactivate the Secvest.
