The LA66 USB LoRaWAN adapter is designed to quickly turn USB devices into LoRaWAN radios. It combines a CP2101 USB TTL chip and the LA66 LoRaWAN module, which can easily add LoRaWAN wireless functionality to a PC / mobile phone or embedded device with USB interface.

LA66 is a ready-to-use module that contains the LoRaWAN v1.0.3 protocol. The LoRaWAN stack used in LA66 is deployed in more than 1 million LoRaWAN end devices worldwide. This mature LoRaWAN stack reduces the risk of developing stable LoRaWAN sensors that support different LoRaWAN servers and different country standards. External MCUs can call LA66 via AT command and start data transmission via LoRaWAN protocol.

Each LA66 module contains a globally unique OTAA key for LoRaWAN registration.

In addition to supporting the LoRaWAN protocol, LA66 also supports the open source peer-to-peer LoRa protocol for non-LoRaWAN applications.

LA66 is equipped with a TCXO crystal, which ensures that the module can deliver stable performance even under extreme temperatures.
