Silent alarm
The purpose of a silent alarm is to summon help in the event of an alarm without drawing attention to the perpetrator. When the alarm is triggered, no signaling devices are activated. Therefore, no visual or audible alarm is triggered by the local alarm system at the location of the alarm. This allows those affected to call for help without the perpetrators being aware of it. However, by connecting to an emergency call and service center, the police can be dispatched with priority immediately after the alarm is triggered. This significantly increases the chance of apprehending the perpetrators at the scene. The police thus gain a crucial time advantage. Additionally, a silent alarm helps prevent the already tense situation on site from escalating further. Furthermore, the owner can be notified of the robbery via app, email, or SMS.
