The camera has a ring buffer function (activated at the factory) : If the microSD memory card is full, the camera automatically deletes/overwrites the oldest recordings in order to be able to record current events.
For data protection-compliant storage according to the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):
- Record without audio/sound (= factory setting)
- Delete recordings manually as soon as possible or have them deleted automatically (see ring buffer function)
The camera models mentioned above come with a microSD memory card from the factory , which you can use to operate the cameras permanently. If you want to change the memory card , or if the message "SD card error" appears:
- Only change/insert the microSD card when the camera is disconnected from the power supply
- the microSD card may have a storage capacity of max. 128 GB
- Format the microSD card before the first recording
- In the app, go to: Camera Overview > Live View > Camera Settings > Storage Settings
- Recordings without audio: Make personal settings…
- activated: recordings are made without sound
- deactivated: recordings are made with sound

- Off: Once the memory card is full, no further recording will occur.
- Enabled (factory setting): Once the memory card is full, the camera automatically overwrites/deletes the oldest recordings in order to record new events.
- 3-day cycle: The camera automatically deletes recordings taken 3 days ago.
- 7-day cycle: The camera automatically deletes recordings taken 7 days ago.
- 30-day cycle: The camera automatically deletes recordings made 30 days ago.
