EnOcean
The battery-free and patented EnOcean radio technology enables a long-range signal from very small amounts of ambient energy. With just 50 µWs, a standard EnOcean radio module can transmit a signal over a distance of 300m (in the open field). An EnOcean network in closed rooms always requires repeaters. The secret lies in the signal duration. The entire process is triggered, carried out and completed in just a thousandth of a second. The EnOcean radio communicates with all important wired bus systems such as KNX, LON, DALI, BACnet or TCP/IP via gateways.
