Arduino® Shield MKR 485 (RS-485 protocol)
Arduino® Shield MKR 485 (RS-485 protocol)
Arduino becomes compatible with the RS-485 protocol!
Do you want to add serial communication to your device via the RS-485 protocol? The Shield MKR 485 provides the industrial connectivity you need.
Arduino® MKR 485
Thanks to this shield, you can now connect your MKR board to any industrial system that uses the RS485 protocol. The MKR 485 shield is the ultimate extension, allowing MKR boards to connect to almost any legacy industrial system, such as industrial PLCs, controllers, drivers, and HMIs. Legacy industrial systems (e.g., machines, heaters, and conveyor belts) can be converted into IoT devices via a serial connection with the MKR 485. The shield is based on the MAXIM MAX3157 and offers half/full duplex. Default operating mode: half duplex.
