SIA/CONTACT-ID is a standardized transmission protocol developed by the Security Industry Association, whose members include companies such as AT&T, ADT, Bosch, and TYCO. It is one of the world's most widely used standard protocols for the digital transmission of information from alarm systems to an emergency call center.
Function
The protocol is capable of transmitting all states and information from the intrusion or alarm system in detail. Each individual triggering detector is transmitted in the chronological order of its activation.
