PRF-LCD-A2 is a wireless control unit for daily operation of the PERFECTA 64 M control panels, which are operated with one of the wireless control modules of the ABAX 2 system, ACU-220 or ACU-280. Encrypted communication with the wireless control module is bidirectional in the 868 MHz frequency band. Large buttons, LCD display and LEDs that signal the system status make operating the system convenient and clear. In addition to the numeric keys, the keypad also has buttons that enable quick activation of the selected arming mode (day arming, night arming, external arming) and the triggering of three alarms (burglary, fire, emergency call).
PRF-LCD-A2 has a built-in reader for access cards and proximity tags, which are used to operate the alarm system. They can be used for external arming, disarming, alarm clearing and control of the devices connected to the alarm system outputs.
The keypad is powered by two CR123A 3 V batteries. Their status is constantly monitored. The device operates in wake-up mode and sleep mode (energy saving in case of inactivity). To further reduce energy consumption, the access card reader can be switched off. The keypad can be powered externally by connecting a 5 V DC power supply, e.g. APS-055, to the keypad. It then behaves similarly to wired LCD keypads, ie it is permanently in wake-up mode. In this case, the batteries are only used if the external power supply fails.
