The Secvest wireless outdoor siren (FUSG50101) is an accessory for the Secvest Secvest alarm system. This professional signal generator is the crucial component of a completely wireless alarm chain. The wireless outdoor siren with LED flash bar is a combination signal generator.

When an alarm is triggered, the siren produces a very loud signal tone with a sound pressure of 105 dB. The alarm duration for the siren can be set to 3 minutes or 15 minutes using a jumper. In addition to the acoustic protection, there is also a visual alarm via a red LED strip (flashing frequency 1 Hz) that can be positioned either at the top or bottom of the siren. The flashing light and siren are controlled separately. This means that the flashing light can continue to flash while the signal tone ends after a defined time.

The siren and Secvest communicate with each other on 868.6625 MHz, a radio frequency that is reserved specifically for the security sector. The radio range is up to 100 meters. The wireless outdoor siren is protected against sabotage via a cover contact and a tear-off contact. In the event of sabotage, the wireless outdoor siren automatically sounds the alarm or forwards the sabotage message to the control center of the Secvest alarm system. Depending on the programming, this then gives the command to activate the siren.

If the control panel is in installer mode, you can open the siren without triggering an alarm. Further fine adjustments of the siren, such as an acknowledgement signal when activating and deactivating the alarm system, are made in the Secvest installer menu.

The wireless outdoor siren is powered by 2 x 3 V alkaline batteries or a 7.2 V lithium battery. The battery life is approximately 2 years. A weakening battery is indicated on the Secvest control panel.

Installation recommendation:

The outdoor siren is installed outside, out of reach (installation height approx. 3m). The siren should point towards the street, as the emergency services are guided to the scene of the incident by the visual signal.
