EC K1 is a device for measuring the conductivity of solutions. EC K1 has an integrated design that is lighter and simpler in structure and more convenient to use.
The electrical conductivity of water is a measure of how well the water can conduct electricity. It provides information about the amount of ions dissolved in the water, which act as charge carriers and enable electrical conductivity. Pure water (distilled or deionized water) has a very low electrical conductivity because it contains hardly any ions. Conductive water usually has dissolved salts, acids or bases that dissociate into ions and thus increase the conductivity. Even small amounts of impurities can significantly increase conductivity.
It is waterproof to IP68 and can be widely used in continuous monitoring of the conductivity of aqueous solutions, such as cross-sectional water quality, aquaculture, wastewater treatment, environmental protection, pharmaceuticals, food and tap water.
