The RAK5804 is a WisBlock interface that extends the WisBlock system with a variety of additional interfaces. It is the solution to connect your own sensors, displays or buttons to your WisBlock solution.

The RAK5804 provides interface pins as well as I2C and UART through 3 connectors for the user's application ports. Users can use these connectors to connect sensors, digital I/O, analog I/O and slave devices through the I2C and UART ports to complete their final IoT solution.

The RAK5804 in combination with the RAK4631 WisBlock Core provides your solution with an interface to non-standard sensors and user interfaces. This interface is the bridge between such sensors and LoRaWan® communication, LoRa® point-to-point connections or BLE.

The RAK5804 is ideal for battery-powered applications as the WisBlock system allows the module to be completely turned off to further reduce system power consumption. The circuits are also TVS protected and a PTC thermistor prevents overload of the output power.
