With a tiltable wall mount, a monitor can be attached to the wall and its tilt angle adjusted. This facilitates viewing in different positions and helps to reduce glare or improve visual comfort.

To ensure that a mount is compatible with a monitor, two important points must be checked:

- VESA compatibility: VESA is the standard that defines the distance (in millimetres) between the mounting holes on the back of the monitor and the mount. With this type of mount (metal parts attached to the monitor and resting on another part of the mount), the VESA value of the mount can be higher, but never lower than the VESA value of the monitor, as the nails allow the distance to be adjusted both horizontally and vertically.

Example: If the VESA value of the monitor is 500x300 mm and the VESA value of the stand is 600x400 mm, they are compatible as the nails can be adjusted horizontally to the correct distance and the multiple holes in the nails can be used for vertical adjustment.

- Weight compatibility: The stand must be able to support the weight of the monitor without exceeding its maximum load capacity.

Example: If the monitor weighs 14kg and the stand supports up to 12kg, they are not compatible. However, if the support can support up to 18 kg, they are.
