The AJAX wireless keypad (KEYPAD PLUS) with touch resistive with integrated RFID reader and Bluetooth is an accessory for the AJAX HUBs and is used to control the alarm system.
The main function of the control unit is to activate and deactivate when entering and leaving the building. The control unit, like all other components, is battery-operated and the regular battery life is around 4.5 years.
The wireless control unit communicates with the control center (the AJAX HUB) via an encrypted wireless protocol and is thus protected against, for example, the code being read. The wireless range outdoors (without obstacles) is up to 1,700 m.
Characteristics:
The system can be set to arm/disarm and partially arm modes using the keypad by entering a PIN code or using an RFID card. It is also possible to switch individual areas (groups) separately.
